Diamond drilling was initially carried out at the Connors deposit by Jamaica Copper and Iron Ltd., in
1955 (427 m or 1,401feet in five holes) and Geophysical Engineering and Surveys Ltd. In 1969 (1,259m
or 4,131 feet in eight holes). Mineralized intersections of up to 1.51% Cu over 56 m (184 feet) were
reported from these programs.

The drill results provided data that facilitated a preliminary resource calculation (non NI 43-101
compliant) outlining some 10,000,000 tonnes of disseminated copper mineralization grading 0.6% to
0.7% Cu. The enriched zone overlaying the protore could have 750,000 tons of 1.4% Cu. Re-sampling
of the Connors drill core by the company and CIDA substantiated the presence of gold in association
with the copper mineralization: values up to 2.73 g Au/t (0.08oz Au/ton) over 0.3m (1 foot) were noted.

Further exploratory diamond drilling in the area was carried out by Golden Ring Resources Ltd., in
1991 and 1992, under option from Trevcorp; their work confirmed the tenor of the mineralization at
Connors, e.g. 0.53% Cu and 0.48 g Au/t (0.014 oz Au/ton) over 143.3 m (470 feet) from surface.
